About the Role

The Commercial Account Executive is a key member of our sales team, responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory. This role requires a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities and upselling/cross-selling our products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and improve customer engagement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of sales and customer service
Requirements
  • College degree preferred; high school degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls organizations
