POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a knowledgeable and approachable Security Systems Installation Specialist. This role involves the design, installation, enhancement, and repair of primarily commercial security systems.

The ideal candidate will utilize their communication skills, technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and sales acumen to provide exceptional customer service.

Successful candidates will receive practical training from vendors and colleagues, with the opportunity to advance to a Level 1 Installation Technician trainer.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute installations, upgrades, and wiring for systems including but not limited to: Cameras, Access Control, Intercoms, and Intrusion Detection.
  • Conduct system replacements, repairs, and disconnections.
  • Perform signal verification, system testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist clients with downloads and device configurations as necessary.
  • Educate and train clients on system operation and features.
  • Complete installation checklists and obtain client signatures as required.
  • Manage personal truck stock inventory, materials, tools, and company equipment.
  • Return defective and surplus equipment to warehouse inventory.
  • Self-evaluate performance through scorecard reports.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Represent Lloyd Security, Inc. with professionalism and maintain appropriate attire.

  • Submit accurate and timely documentation to the immediate supervisor.
  • Be available for on-call duty to address after-hours service issues.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Physical fitness to climb, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Capacity to remain focused and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues under pressure.
  • Motivated team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality work.
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in client interaction; professional appearance.
  • Preferred: PLT License and/or technical school training.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) plus opportunities for upsell commissions.
