Job Summary:

The University of Miami seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Records Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our enrollment records team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to students, parents, and administrators while maintaining the accuracy and security of student records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient handling of in-person mail operations, including retrieval, review, and retention of documents.
  • Serve as a primary contact for student and parent inquiries related to student applications and records.
  • Load and index documents and files related to undergraduate student records, ensuring checklists are satisfied.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of student records, accurately recording information in the University's student information system.
  • Regularly review and manage mismatched records, manage test scores, and process change requests from EM functional personnel.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • One year of relevant work experience managing records, preferably in higher education or corporate settings.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
