Medical Records Coordinator

As a Medical Records Coordinator at Care Resource, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating referrals, managing medical records, and providing administrative support to our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate referrals for patient specialist visits, ensuring timely and efficient processing
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, both electronic and physical
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, clients, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Assist in ensuring compliance with agency and HIPAA requirements, maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information
• Participate in health center developmental activities and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other software applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Working Conditions
This role requires constant sitting, hearing, visual acuity, and talking in person and on the phone. Frequent walking, standing, and bending are also required. Work is performed in-office and laboratory settings.
