Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Equivalent combinations of education, experience, or certifications may be considered;
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing complex environments or advanced application expertise with a solid understanding of functional processes;
  • Application experience must include at least two (2) years with Oracle Utilities Application Framework, Oracle CC&B, or Oracle's revenue and billing systems;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Proven experience in leading projects and teams.

Salary Range: $96,000 - $120,751.08 annually (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a stable infrastructure for assigned hardware and software, operational 24/7 to support critical business applications. Review daily results to ensure operational success and implement corrective actions as needed;
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing emergency support for user files and business systems;
  • Conduct technical analysis of system-related issues and propose resolution options;
  • Run and interpret system diagnostic reports and alert notifications;
  • Report metrics to management and prepare periodic performance reports;
  • Monitor licensing and capacity to ensure timely purchases;
  • Provide technical support as needed, including after-hours infrastructure maintenance and support for audits and application developers;
  • Adhere to triage, SDLC, change management, and other IT processes for promoting new or revised objects across environments;
  • Review vendor maintenance notifications and develop action plans;
  • Engage in technology reviews and planning to identify and implement new solutions;
  • Participate in Change Management Board and IT Standards Committee meetings;
  • Prepare Request for Proposal documentation for infrastructure component replacements and serve as the primary technical resource for evaluating proposed solutions;
  • Act as the main liaison between business partners and technical staff for issue identification and resolution;
  • Manage multiple application environments while following best practices for patch and configuration management;
  • Build and maintain the technical infrastructure to support application needs, ensuring availability for projects and production;
  • Perform application deployments, monitoring, patch release planning, and performance tuning, while maintaining documentation regarding system functionality and performance;
  • Conduct performance analysis and document issues and resolutions;
  • Evaluate existing applications/tools for their suitability in a hybrid cloud infrastructure and recommend best practices;
  • Provide metrics for existing integrations with various cloud platforms;
  • Support team development through coaching, training, and mentoring.

Technical Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in enterprise scheduling applications;
  • Knowledge of sFTP protocols and encryption;
  • Experience with server environments (Windows, Linux, etc.);
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments;
  • Understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.);
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Java, etc.);
  • Knowledge of software applications including CC&B, MDM, JD Edwards Enterprise 1, GIS, and OMS;
  • Experience with system monitoring tools;
  • Familiarity with structured methodologies such as FADE, SDLC, and Agile;
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.

Working Conditions:
This position is primarily office-based, free from disagreeable working conditions.

Physical Requirements:
This role involves reading, writing, typing, and detailed inspection/editing, as well as speaking and hearing. It may require sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
