Job Summary:

The US Oncology Network is seeking a skilled IT Support Coordinator to join our team at Texas Oncology. This full-time position will support our Central Texas South Market locations, including Midtown Austin, South Austin, Bastrop, Kyle, and San Marcos.

The IT Support Coordinator will assist in computer systems operations, including troubleshooting, maintenance, hardware ordering and shipping, and hardware/software installation. They will also assist in network and end user support by answering calls, documenting incidents and requests for service, setting up user accounts, and assisting users with answering questions.

Responsibilities:

Assist in answering calls from end users, support companies, and vendors
Document and maintain records of end user issues, network issues, support and vendor communications, and hardware/software orders and shipping
Troubleshoot basic end user questions and problems
Provide basic user support as needed
Assist supervisor in the maintenance of network systems, servers, and workstations; installation of software and hardware; and troubleshooting of server and network problems
Set up and delete user IDs and passwords in practice management systems and submit requests to the corporate office for user accounts in file server and email systems

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience. At least 1 year of experience working in an IT support role is strongly preferred. Prior computer networking experience is also preferred. A+ certification and MCP in Microsoft Office are preferred but not required. The candidate must have strong communication and customer service skills and be able to travel locally between 5 central Austin locations.
