Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front Office Agent to join our team at Sonesta International Hotels. As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Your primary objective will be to achieve performance objectives covering the front desk and provide support to the Operations Manager. You will serve as the point person with regard to the Front Desk technology systems and in-house guest relations during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
  • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain the security of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information.
  • May routinely book guest reservations and process cancellations, revisions, and information updates.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of previous hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
