Strategic Business Development Manager

Jobot is seeking an experienced Business Strategy Manager to join our team in Long Beach, CA. As a key member of our US entity, you will be responsible for driving strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and business partnering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze key trends across our landscape and ecosystem to inform strategic decisions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to form actionable insights and enterprise-wide outlooks.
- Build a robust competitive intelligence process to monitor key industry players.
Strategic Planning:
- Drive the strategic planning process to define company strategy and establish strategic goals.
- Perform internal and external strategic analyses to inform business conditions.
- Develop scenarios centered around variations in business outlook and assess strategic responses.
Business Partnering:
- Partner with teams across the organization to facilitate deep-dive analyses into selected businesses.
- Assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to identify strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering preferred.
- 5-10 years' experience in consulting, business development, strategy, or strategic planning.
- Proficient in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint presentations.
- Market research and competitive analysis skills.
Travel Requirements:
15-20% of the time.
