Compensation PackageThe salary for this role is estimated to be around $60,000 per year, with opportunities for commission-based earnings. The compensation package is structured to reward performance and encourage growth within the company.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Building Materials Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for finding and completing sales of our full line of building materials and installed services with local contractors, builders, and remodelers.
You will work closely with all departments, including the yard and dispatch office, middle management, and market Vice Presidents, to manage customer relationships and ensure successful project outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Finding and completing sales of building materials and installed services
- Managing customer relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes
- Working closely with all departments to achieve sales goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales in the building materials industry
- Knowledge of home building basics
- Create material estimates/quotes and special orders
- Open new accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Learn to read blueprints and provide material take-off lists
- Ability to work independently
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Attend HBA/builder/company functions as required
