Sales Operations Commercialization Specialist

Location: Orrville Corporate Offices (Preferred Location)

Work Arrangements: Supporting Presence with Purpose Model with minimum onsite expectations of 30% (minimum 6 days a month)

Your Opportunity

In this position, you will provide support and assistance to both internal sales teams and Away from Home clients in the areas of documentation, customer portal management, item and factory requests, quality assurance inquiries, and master product data management. You will serve as the go-to expert for product documentation and the dissemination of that information. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining internal marketing and sales resources as well as managing various sales support projects as assigned.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Product Data & Assets:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to fulfill necessary product registrations and requests.
  • Research and comprehend production specifications, including packaging, ingredients, nutritional information, facility documentation, and marketing claims.
  • Oversee GS1 product data and images in Riversand/Syndigo, ensuring accurate loading, management, and publication of product data through GS1 Data Sync.
  • Partner with Marketing and Content Syndication teams to address Riversand/Syndigo data and system challenges.
  • Manage the asset database to ensure that updated assets are accurately reflected in Riversand/Syndigo and customer data portals.
  • Assist sales teams in maintaining company data, product specifications, and product images across various customer portals.
  • Maintain a repository of updated facility and product documentation on The Grove, including standard operating procedures and resources from subject matter experts.
  • Clearly define and maintain the scope of responsibilities for this role.
  • Conduct research on specifications, packaging, and nutritional information using Prodika/Oracle.
  • Audit Price Lists and Item Lists to support marketing and sales teams in item data governance.
Broker & Sales Communications:
  • Support the Sales Team in ensuring Broker Teams have access to updated marketing materials and documentation.
  • Maintain FS1 with relevant marketing, sales, and product data for JMS broker partners.
  • Act as a Sales Resource for ShowPad, assisting the Marketing Team with system and asset management.
  • Serve as a Sales Resource for accessing updated logos and product images.
  • Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Advanced time management skills.
  • Proficient in quick and accurate data entry and analytical tasks.
  • Microsoft Word: Proficient in creating and formatting various business documents, tracking changes, and creating graphs and charts.
  • Microsoft Outlook & OneNote: Highly skilled in managing emails, calendar invites, and tasks.
  • Microsoft Excel: Advanced knowledge in creating spreadsheets, utilizing formulas, and analyzing data.
Additional skills and experience that would enhance success in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience in the Food Industry.
