About the Geophysical Institute:
The Geophysical Institute is a research-oriented entity at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, committed to excellence in applied science.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should exhibit strong time management capabilities, exceptional customer service skills, and meticulous attention to detail. While experience in proposal development is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Minimum Requirements:
- An Associate's degree along with two years of progressively responsible experience related to grant proposal development, or an equivalent combination of training and expertise.
- Candidates lacking a degree or two years of relevant experience but possessing at least two of the following skills will also be considered:
1. Proficiency in Mac or Windows operating systems.
2. Basic understanding of accounting for budget preparation.
3. Previous experience in fiscal technology.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Typing skills with a minimum speed of 45 words per minute.

Position Details:
This full-time position is classified as Grade 78, non-exempt, and spans 12 months, offering a competitive salary along with a comprehensive UA employee benefits package.

Compensation Package:
