Instructional Support Specialist

Envision Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aide to join our team of educators. As a key member of our Special Education program, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning or behavioral needs in our full-inclusion setting.

The Instructional Aide will work closely with Learning Specialists and general education teachers to support students with learning or behavioral needs. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with intervention plans and providing support to students to meet IEP goals
- Collecting and recording observational data related to academic progress or behavior management
- Organizing special education files and maintaining online IEPs
- Communicating with Learning Specialists and parents regarding student progress
- Performing other related duties as required and assigned
We are seeking an individual with:
- An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
- A commitment to the mission and vision of Envision Education
- Knowledge of adolescent growth, development, and behavior characteristics
- Ability to support students with learning needs and implement IEPs or behavior support plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with general education and special education colleagues, parents, and community
We offer competitive pay with benefits, pay commensurate with education and experience, ranging from $24 to $31 per hour. This is an 11-month, non-exempt, 40-hour per week position. Benefits include paid sick and personal leave, excellent health benefits, and optional Flexible Benefits Plan and 403b Plan.
