Position Overview:
This role serves as the Deputy Director of Support, tasked with overseeing the management and execution of essential business operations and support services for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the execution of INSCOM's business enterprise processes, including the Business Enterprise Review Board and the Contract Action Review Board.
2. Analyze proposed contract spending plans and strategies, recommending adjustments to achieve cost efficiencies.
3. Collaborate with INSCOM business enterprise colleagues to implement cost control measures and enhance operational efficiencies.

Financial and Resource Management:
Direct the planning and execution of financial processes, human resources management, military construction, facilities management, corporate information management, and business planning. Ensure effective personnel resource assignments and leadership skill development.

Support Services Oversight:
Manage critical support services such as risk management and special staff functions within the headquarters. Ensure the integration of high-visibility, dynamic, and diverse business and planning programs into a cohesive command strategy.

Representation:
Act as the command's representative at Department of Army and DoD meetings, engaging with key officials from military services, industry, academia, and government entities.

Strategic Planning:
Possess the authority to establish long-term goals and objectives, determine program priorities, plan for staffing and organizational needs, manage changes, and oversee personnel actions affecting support staff.

Conditions of Employment:
Appointment may require a suitability determination based on a background investigation. A two-year trial period may be necessary. Candidates must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and maintain eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet specific employment authority categories to be eligible for this position. Experience requirements include administering operational intelligence programs, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with agency policies.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience is required, which includes administering intelligence programs, performing contract management, and ensuring compliance with operational policies.

Evaluation Criteria:
Candidates will be evaluated based on their qualifications and competencies in influencing, negotiating, strategic thinking, and technical credibility.

Additional Information:
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required, and Direct Deposit of Pay is mandatory.
