Job Title: CT Scan Technologist

Equiliem Healthcare is seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex CT procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Review and obtain patient clinical history, documenting information in PACS.
  • Prepare, screen, and review contrast questionnaires with patients and/or family members, scanning information into EPIC.
  • Identify and/or administer contrast media related to CT exams as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Verify patient prescriptions, communicating with Radiologists and Referring Physicians as needed.
  • Responsible for calling physicians to clarify prescriptions and sending exam modification forms to Finance for insurance re-verification.
  • Obtain outside studies (CDs), scheduling them in EPIC for comparison by Radiologists.
  • Provide exam copies to patients and requesting physicians and/or family members.
  • Evaluate radiographs using PACS, ensuring proper identification and diagnostic value.
  • Use consistent techniques to gather relevant information from medical records, significant others, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
  • NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
  • ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred.
  • Six months CT experience preferred.
Work Schedule:

Thursday - Sunday, 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM, 4 x 10 hour shifts. Holidays required. No on-call.
