Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team at Equiliem Healthcare. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computer tomography procedures and related techniques to produce high-quality images for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex CT procedures, utilizing professional judgment to review and obtain patient clinical history.
  • Prepare, screen, and review the accuracy of contrast questionnaires with patients and/or family members.
  • Identify and/or administer contrast media related to CT exams as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Verify patient prescriptions to ensure appropriateness of exams and communicate with radiologists and referring physicians as needed.
  • Responsible for calling physicians to clarify prescriptions and verifying insurance authorized exam scripts.
  • Evaluate radiographs using PACS systems to ensure proper identification and diagnostic value.
  • Use consistent and appropriate techniques to gather relevant information from medical records, significant others, and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patient physical condition for adverse reactions during procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
  • NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
  • ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six months CT experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital.
Work Schedule

13 week assignment, 7PM-7:30AM, 3x12s, every other weekend, Thanksgiving night Wed into Thursday, no call float required.
