Position Summary
The Customer Experience Specialist, CIM plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service at Corporate Interiors Inc. This position encompasses order processing, conducting audits, timely email responses, and providing comprehensive support to team managers through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities

- Processes purchase orders for raw materials, verifies vendor acknowledgments for precision, and updates records accordingly.
- Conducts daily audits of status reports.
- Maintains an updated vendor pricing catalog.
- Handles Vendor Deposit Requests through the appropriate channels as necessary.
- Inputs specification quotations for sales and submits them for customer evaluation and approval.
- Acquires in-depth knowledge of all products and services, staying informed about new offerings.
- Manages the Petty Cash drawer.
- Digitally archives timesheets and delivery tickets daily, organizing them into designated folders.
- Responsible for daily filing of raw materials orders, shop floor work orders, and job packets.
- Participates in all company training sessions and meetings.
- Provides online chat support for customer inquiries.
- Acts as a liaison for customers between various divisions.
- Coordinates logistics for client and team meetings/events.
- Oversees office supply inventory and facility supplies.
- Serves as a backup for the CIM Operations Coordinator.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree is preferred.
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in customer service and/or administrative roles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization.
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills.
- Assertive, adaptable, and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience in the contract interiors sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of Steelcase furniture solutions is advantageous.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
