Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Foreman to join our team at Upson Company. As a Service Foreman, you will be responsible for conducting field operations of the maintenance and repair division in a field leadership role. You will utilize the latest electronic technology to communicate with customers and our office, ensuring seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor and direct productivity of crew
  • Set priorities, goals, and timelines for projects
  • Communicate professionally and accurately about the project
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Manage workload and preplan equipment and supplies
  • Train and develop apprentices in the trade of Commercial Roofing
  • Develop and maintain customer service with new and established customers
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass pre-hire physical and pre-hire drug screen
  • Valid Driver's License with no restrictions
  • Must be comfortable working more than 6 ft off the ground
  • Carry out duties in varying outdoor climate conditions for extended periods
  • Reach, lift, and maneuver supplies and ladders up to 50 lbs
  • Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently
  • Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Minimum experience as a journeyman roofer for a period of 2 years
  • Understand all major roofing manufacturer's warranty details
  • OSHA 10 hour course/Manlift/Forklift/First Aid certifications (if not, Upson will certify/recertify)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish beneficial
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Task-oriented and dependable
  • Team-oriented with ability to excel in a team environment
