Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Medical Data Specialist to join our team at Signature HealthCARE, LLC. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to complete the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and ensuring federal billing requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data from medical records, bedside assessments, and staff, resident, and family interviews to complete the MDS.
  • Participate in daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and monthly meetings to ensure federal billing requirements are met.
  • Provide ongoing education to the interdisciplinary team on the RAI process and its updates.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
  • Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for long-term care.
  • Minimum one year of MDS experience.
