Job Overview

The esteemed Seelbach Hilton hotel is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Security Team.

This is a full-time role with varying shifts. A professional appearance is essential—business attire is required (e.g., suit and tie).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing the surveillance systems.
  2. Preparing reports detailing daily activities and any irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized individuals, or unusual incidents.
  3. Contacting law enforcement or fire services in emergencies, such as fires or unauthorized access.
  4. Documenting and recording information—entering, transcribing, storing, or maintaining data in written or electronic formats.
  5. Resolving conflicts and negotiating with individuals—addressing complaints, mediating disputes, and managing grievances.
  6. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  1. Reading Comprehension—Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
  2. Active Listening—Fully engaging with others, understanding their points, asking relevant questions, and avoiding interruptions.
  3. Social Perceptiveness—Awareness of others' reactions and understanding their motivations.

Knowledge, Experience, and Education:

  1. Public Safety and Security—Familiarity with relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure effective security operations for the protection of individuals, data, property, and institutions.
  2. Customer and Personal Service—Understanding of principles and processes for delivering customer and personal services, including needs assessment and quality standards.
  3. English Language—Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including meaning, spelling, composition rules, and grammar.
  4. Law and Government—Understanding of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
  5. Clerical—Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, including word processing, file management, and office terminology.

Education:

A combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation or other relevant training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience:

Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is encouraged to apply.
