Position Overview:
The Bilingual Enrollment Support Specialist plays a crucial role in guiding new families through the enrollment process at Mastery Schools. This position involves assisting families in identifying the most suitable Mastery school for their children, addressing inquiries, and facilitating the application process to ensure a positive initial experience with our educational network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a courteous, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards families at all times.
- Assist in the enrollment of new students by collecting necessary information and documentation from families.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping by managing data across various software platforms.
- Communicate effectively through both verbal and written channels.
- Uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
- Handle phone inquiries, messages, and respond to questions from staff, parents, or community members.
- Create informational materials such as brochures, handbooks, and flyers.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador for Mastery Schools, conveying our mission and the unique offerings available to students and families.
- Occasionally assist with in-person enrollment events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Highly organized and motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in person.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Friendly, energetic, and focused on customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to anti-racism.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Outlook.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment (e.g., retail, call center, reception).
- Experience working with diverse families and individuals.
- Community engagement experience is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform essential job functions and work in various environmental conditions, including travel to network campuses and navigating office spaces.
