Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care and instruction for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a child development center environment.
- Instruct children in social, behavioral, manipulative, and language development skills.
- Participate in the planning, organizing, and conducting of instructional and training programs.
- Aide parents in developing child-rearing skills.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Child Development Permit as a Teacher (or higher level) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- Proof of satisfying current community care Title 22 licensing requirements.
- Ability to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to hear normal speech, speak, and hear on the telephone, and speak in person.
Working Conditions:
The work is generally performed in an infant and toddler and/or preschool childcare and classroom environment, and also includes some outdoor activities.
