Position Summary

We are looking for friendly and welcoming individuals to manage the scheduling, greeting, and registration of patients for imaging examinations at our facility.

Facility Overview

As a newly established affiliate of Northwell Health, our Imaging Center is dedicated to providing advanced imaging services with compassion and respect. We play a vital role in enhancing the care plans for patients in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate various registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing tasks to support patient access to medical services.
  • Conduct pre-registration and registration tasks; collect necessary demographic and insurance details and input data into the system; secure appropriate signatures on medical, legal, and financial documents.
  • Assist in verifying patient insurance coverage and related information with third-party payers for scheduled services; help obtain necessary insurance authorizations; document authorization outcomes in the system; collect payments due from patients at the time of service; may perform billing and related functions.

Expectations & Goals

  • Prioritize Patient Safety, particularly in relation to Patient Identification & Procedure Verification.
  • Encourage positive communication, create exceptional patient experiences, and deliver Service Excellence during every interaction.
  • Align imaging services with the strategic vision to meet the needs of clinical programs in the community.
  • Enhance existing relationships and establish new connections with referring physicians to ensure timely access to imaging services.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in one of the following languages: Russian, Cantonese, or Mandarin, possess strong customer service skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering empathetic care within a collaborative team environment.
