Your Role: As a Technology Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth technological experience for our team members, allowing them to maximize their impact. This position involves overseeing our Google Workspace administration, managing the IT infrastructure of our New York office, and striving for excellence in corporate engineering. Collaboration with the DevOps and Security teams will be essential. This role requires a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, monitor, and maintain our physical IT infrastructure, including MacBooks, video conferencing systems, network devices, and related hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide remote technical support for employees, promptly addressing and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Manage and administer our Google Workspace and Google Video Conferencing solutions, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.
  • Work closely with DevOps and Security teams to assist in the deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within our IT infrastructure and processes, recommending effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our IT operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in IT infrastructure management and support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing MacBook fleets using tools such as Jamf or Kandji.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace administration and supporting Google Video Conferencing deployments.
  • Familiarity with help desk support, ticketing systems, and incident management.
  • Understanding of DevOps and security operations, including application deployment and monitoring.

  • Compensation: Competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000, with flexibility, along with meaningful equity.
