About the Role:

BigBear Inc is seeking a Scrum Master to support our Agile team in defining and delivering mission-critical applications for our DHS customer. The successful candidate will provide support to the Agile team by transforming client business needs into user stories that accurately capture functional requirements, advocate for the client Product Owner, and work proactively, collaboratively, and with an entrepreneurial spirit in providing O&M support to the customer and their Stakeholder communities in achieving their critical missions.

Key Responsibilities:

Write user stories and document functional requirements using JIRA application
Assign points for user stories
Provide support and technical advice throughout Agile sprint cycles
Engage with clients/users to define system scope and objectives
Assist in validating enhancements to existing system
Coordinating with developers and QA/test engineers

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 to 10 years of experience
Experience with scrum/agile project lifecycle approach to software development; experience developing Agile user stories for an IT mission system; Certification(s) - SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban
Adept at problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, time management, multi-tasking, and task-ownership; excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies; strong experience working with teams implementing and configuring DevOps solutions; proven track record as a self-learner, keeping current with the latest techniques (including automated testing and continuous integration)
U.S. Citizenship Required
