Job Summary:

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to support the Department of State. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and experience working with government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for multiple teams, guiding them through Agile development processes and ensuring clear, actionable workflows.
  • Analyze requirements, developer experiences, performance metrics, and infrastructure trends to inform client decisions.
  • Assist and facilitate scaled Agile development processes, maintaining clear and actionable Azure DevOps workflows.
  • Work closely with Technical Leads to define features and prioritize work items, assessing priority and impact.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve blockers and dependencies.

Requirements:

  • ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • FOUR (4) years of professional experience, with at least ONE (1) year as a Scrum Master.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile certifications (Certified Scrum Master, Agile Product Owner/Product Manager, etc.).
  • Experience leading teams using scaled Agile methods.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience implementing at a Federal program.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.
  • Flexibility, agility, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as to work independently.
  • Experience/knowledge working in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working in scaled Agile teams.
  • Self-motivated with innate organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple work streams against tight deadlines.
  • Comfort in functioning as both a business partner as well as a subject matter expert; ability to understand and weigh long- and short-term budget considerations; and to communicate complex decision points to clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relations with and communicate across all levels of staff and leadership, along with a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Experience building project plans, status reports, and other content for executive leadership which promote efficient decision-making.
