Key Responsibilities:

The Irrigation Manager (IM) is responsible for orchestrating personnel and resources to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient irrigation solutions to our clients. The IM also collaborates with Account Managers in estimating, design, and client consultations as necessary. Additionally, the IM will independently promote irrigation services to clients, whether or not they have existing maintenance contracts. This role entails overseeing a commercial landscape portfolio and multiple service teams, while also focusing on the training and development of team members and providing daily operational guidance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs through regular communication with Account Managers.
  • Overseeing all irrigation services, including the coordination of materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Conducting property inspections prior to scheduled services to prepare tailored action plans.
  • Monitoring irrigation systems post-installation and addressing any identified issues.
  • Participating in hands-on work with crews to meet operational demands.
  • Collaborating with the Branch Manager to assess staffing requirements, recruit new team members, and develop daily crew schedules.
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed for employee changes and new hires.
  • Providing guidance, training, and performance reviews for team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Delivering hands-on training to crew members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Prioritizing safety and monitoring safety records diligently.
  • Managing essential administrative systems, including time sheets, job databases, and service schedules.
  • Ordering materials as needed while monitoring costs and delivery timelines.
  • Requesting purchase orders in alignment with company policies.
  • Assisting the Branch Manager with irrigation sales tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a 2-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, management, and leadership within an organization, preferably in the landscaping industry, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Possession of necessary certifications and licenses to operate in the local market.
