About PGIM Strategy - Executive Office

The PGIM Strategy team supports the CEO of PGIM and the whole leadership team in developing and executing strategy around the business' most critical priorities.

The Strategy team works on a wide variety of projects including competitor analysis, market evaluation and entry, and mergers and acquisitions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Strategy Analyst to join our team in Newark, NJ. As a Strategy Analyst, you will be part of a small strategy team overseen by the Chief Strategy Officer.

You will be given high levels of responsibility across multiple projects and asked to tackle complex business challenges from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop problem statements and structure problem-solving approaches to PGIM's most critical challenges
  • Conduct analyses on markets, competitors, and other business items
  • Establish the fact-base to aid in answering the PGIM senior management's most pressing questions
  • Present your findings and recommendations to senior PGIM leaders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree is required with strong academic background
  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in internal strategy, management consulting, or banking
  • Knowledge of financial services
  • Interest in business strategy/development and asset management
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Passion for problem-solving
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Executive presence and the composure to interact with senior leaders
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
