Job Responsibilities:
The Sanitation Manager will be responsible for:
  • Managing all facets of the sanitation department to ensure compliance with cleanliness and sanitation standards across the manufacturing facility.
  • Creating and executing sanitation protocols and cleaning schedules that align with local, state, and federal regulations as well as industry best practices.
  • Leading and mentoring sanitation personnel, fostering a culture centered on safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
  • Conducting routine inspections and audits to verify adherence to sanitation and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborating with various departments to integrate sanitation practices into all production processes.
  • Addressing sanitation emergencies swiftly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Maintaining detailed records of sanitation activities and providing regular updates to upper management.
  • Staying informed about advancements in sanitation technology, procedures, and regulations, implementing necessary improvements.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation management role within the manufacturing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation procedures, cleaning protocols, compliance with sanitation standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • A proven track record in developing and implementing effective sanitation strategies and schedules.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in training and supervising sanitation teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing sanitation challenges.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of clearly conveying sanitation procedures and standards to staff and stakeholders.
  • A meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to identify and rectify areas of concern.
  • A solid commitment to maintaining safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
