Position Overview:

The Supervision Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of clients within the Residential Reentry Center. Reporting directly to the Facility Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of the facility, while also managing essential documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to agency policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Conduct regular security checks and maintain accurate client counts.
  • Facilitate visitor management, ensuring proper sign-in and sign-out protocols are followed.
  • Implement facility searches to prevent contraband entry, conducting thorough inspections of personal belongings.
  • Perform emergency drills as mandated, ensuring preparedness for any situation.
  • Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the facility.
  • Manage client intake processes and maintain accurate records of admissions and discharges.
  • Conduct urine testing and monitor alcohol surveillance as part of client compliance measures.
  • Assist in the issuance and inventory of resident medications, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Report any incidents or unusual occurrences to the appropriate authorities immediately.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of three years' experience in a relevant field, or a Bachelor's Degree in Social or Behavioral Science.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of auto liability insurance, if applicable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation:

Hourly wage commensurate with experience.

Additional Information:

CPR/First Aid certification is required, along with completion of all necessary training. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Safety and well-being of clients and staff are the highest priorities in this position.
