The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in Human Resources, showcasing expertise in benefits management, talent acquisition, compensation analysis, reporting, and employee training. A successful HR Generalist should exhibit patience, empathy, and exceptional listening abilities, alongside the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment: Conduct recruitment processes, including interviewing and hiring qualified candidates for various positions. Collaborate with department leaders to ascertain their hiring needs and manage pre-employment procedures such as drug testing and background checks. Develop onboarding programs and facilitate engaging orientation sessions for new hires.
- Training and Development: Ensure that all mandatory training and ongoing education requirements are met and documented. This includes safety training, code of conduct orientation, anti-harassment training, and other necessary certifications. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in HR technology.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefit programs and manage leave requests. Collaborate with the HR team during the annual Open Enrollment period and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Relations: Oversee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality throughout. Provide guidance to leadership on sensitive matters and escalate issues as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Experience with HRIS and talent management systems.
