Job Description:

TruGreen is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on generating and securing new sales in a professional environment by calling on and prospecting with property management firms, large corporations, and sports-related facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans to small to large businesses, including property managers, school systems, sports facilities, government facilities, restaurants, banks, and other companies in need of superior lawn care products and services.
• Present proposals for lawn care services and programs, and obtain long-term contracts.
• Generate new business-to-business (B2B) sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.
• Negotiate price and design using company-provided guidelines and technology/CRM.
• Generate leads through utilizing a CRM system to manage projects and opportunities, contact information, forecasting reports, etc.
• Manage projects within the branch, including coordinating with local branch management and service teams.

Requirements:

• Preferred Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience.
• Preferred previous sales experience, proven sales track record, industry or internal company-related experience.
• 0-1 years of B2B sales experience preferred.
• Landscaping, lawn care, tree, and shrub or pest experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
