Job Title: Senior Radar Processing Engineer for Electronic Warfare Applications

The Applied Electromagnetics Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Radar Processing Engineer to collaborate with our team of engineers, scientists, and AI/ML experts to design, develop, and implement advanced radar processing algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop radar signal processing algorithms for electronic warfare applications
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to advance automatic target recognition (ATR) algorithms
  • Implement or enhance radar signal process software algorithms
  • Support business development activities, including developing responses to RFPs and RFIs
Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • 7+ years of experience in radar signal processing or electronic warfare applications
  • Expertise in synthetic aperture radar (SAR), automatic target recognition (ATR), and/or related fields
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active (or prior) security clearance of Secret or higher (TS//SCI preferred)
  • Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or related discipline
  • Experience with radar range measurements, calibration, and signal processing
