Job Title: Senior Radar Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division, is seeking a qualified candidate for a Senior Radar Systems Engineer position. The successful candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Requirements:

  • 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
  • Significant experience with either Radar design or Signals analysis.
  • Advanced skills with analysis tools/programs (such as MATLAB) is required.
