Customer Service Specialist

At American Woodmark, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective communication to customers regarding product delivery, availability, and specifications.
- Manage customer orders, including scheduling installations and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain a proficient working knowledge of our proprietary systems, including Maestro, Order Billing System (OBS), and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of customer orders.
- Continuously improve departmental, location, and company performance by identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years' experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced keyboarding skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
