Job Overview

Position Title: Donor Relations Specialist

Objective of the Role:

The Donor Relations Specialist serves as a vital liaison for Coptic Orphans' stakeholders. This role is focused on maintaining and supporting all active sponsors and donors. The specialist communicates the mission and initiatives of Coptic Orphans in a compelling, enthusiastic, and professional manner while handling various maintenance and customer service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all inquiries from prospects, donors, and sponsors via calls and emails.
  • Leverage incoming donor calls to promote additional contributions, donations, and partnerships.
  • Oversee the management of existing constituent records and ensure timely updates.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Salesforce database by entering precise data.
  • Document donor and sponsor payments, update payment methods, and resolve any declined donations.
  • Provide comprehensive customer service to donors and sponsors, including issue resolution and information dissemination.
  • Innovate and implement new strategies to enhance Coptic Orphans' customer service experience.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in fundraising or marketing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively implement operational processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with database or contact management software, particularly Salesforce.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication abilities, including persuasive and articulate verbal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Travel Requirements:

  • Availability for travel as necessary.
