We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
- Perform preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision and in a timely manner
- Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
- Keep your work area clean and safe
- Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
- Learn new skills through Penske's technician training

Requirements- 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance

- Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
- Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
