Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Associate Attorney to enhance our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Securities/FINRA, Professional Liability Defense, and Civil Litigation, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. A valid California bar admission is essential for success in this role.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience, and provides the flexibility of a Hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in various legal proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough research and prepare legal documents and pleadings.
  • Manage discovery processes and assist in legal transactions.
  • Engage in mediations, hearings, and depositions as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve issues related to their cases.
  • Implement best practices in client management and case handling.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies for case presentations.
  • Ensure timely completion of reports and projects in line with partner and client expectations.
  • Accurately record billable hours in accordance with client guidelines and firm policies.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills to comprehend complex legal matters and articulate core issues.
  • Familiarity with federal and state civil procedure rules.
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail with excellent research and proofreading skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal procedures and current developments.
  • Proficient in using legal research tools and time-billing software.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to dedicate additional hours as required by caseload.
