Position Summary

The Warehouse/Parts Coordinator II plays a crucial role within the Supply Chain Team. Under some supervision, this role is responsible for the effective receipt, management, delivery, counting, reconciliation, return, and all aspects of material handling and warehouse coordination as necessary. This position also involves the pickup and delivery of items using a company vehicle and the regular operation of a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport items to and from the designated facility.
  • Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse-related equipment.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of all incoming goods, requiring a physical count against the packing list.
  • Report any discrepancies in received goods to the Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Team.
  • Organize all received goods in their designated locations, whether in kits, on shelves, or directly at the production site.
  • Facilitate the movement of materials between the warehouse, kits, and production sites using appropriate equipment.
  • Utilize bar code scanners and printers for inventory management.
  • Store materials properly to maintain safety for goods and coworkers.
  • Prepare shipments and ensure that all documentation is processed and routed to the relevant departments.
  • Handle returns or exchanges of defective or unnecessary items.
  • Pack shipping containers securely for safe transport via ocean, ground, or air.
  • Install protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
  • Assemble product containers and storage solutions as needed.
  • Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Report any potential hazards or damages to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Verify inventory accuracy through visual checks against database records.
  • Utilize computer systems for tracking stock items.
  • Assist with the processing of Customer Furnished Equipment receipts.
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure correct item types and quantities are ordered and received.
  • Support inventory level maintenance and assist with inventory discrepancies.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Contribute to problem-solving related to material shortages and inventory issues.
  • Suggest improvements for warehouse operations in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Engage professionally with team members and other colleagues.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and other assigned duties.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation, approachable and friendly with all stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Able to multitask effectively and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with warehouse management software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform various physical tasks.
  • Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or material handling roles.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and eligibility for company auto insurance.
  • Experience with inventory tracking and management software.
