Position Summary

The Warehouse/Parts Coordinator II plays a crucial role within the Supply Chain Team. Under moderate supervision, this position is responsible for the effective receipt, management, and distribution of materials. This includes ensuring accurate inventory counts, facilitating returns, and handling all aspects of warehouse operations. The role also involves transporting items using a company vehicle and operating forklifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport goods to and from the facility.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Verify the receipt of all incoming goods against shipping documentation.
  • Report discrepancies in received goods to relevant personnel.
  • Organize and store received items in designated locations.
  • Move materials between the warehouse, production sites, and kits as required.
  • Utilize barcode scanners for inventory management.
  • Ensure safe storage of materials to protect goods and coworkers.
  • Prepare and process shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Handle returns or exchanges of defective or unnecessary items.
  • Pack shipping containers securely for various transport methods.
  • Implement protective measures to prevent damage during transit.
  • Assemble containers and storage solutions as necessary.
  • Inspect stock for wear or defects and report issues as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
  • Identify and report potential hazards or damages to management.
  • Conduct visual inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and management.
  • Assist in processing Customer Furnished Equipment (CFE) receipts.
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure accurate orders and deliveries.
  • Support inventory maintenance and level verification.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Assist in resolving material shortages and inventory discrepancies.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
  • Engage professionally with team members and visitors.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Highly organized with a focus on cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and insurability under company policy.
  • Experience with inventory tracking and management software.
