Job Summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing production equipment according to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test production equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader/Team Manager and execute production with Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints
  • Report any deviations to the Status Boards immediately and update the Team Leader/Team Manager
  • Participate in Daily Status Board Meetings to discuss deviations and propose solutions
  • Review and suggest improvements for Standard Operating Procedures
  • Identify and eliminate waste opportunities in production processes
  • Engage in daily and weekly 5S routines to maintain high 5S standards
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and add value
Requirements
  • High School or GED minimum
  • Crane and Forklift certifications preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders
  • Basic computer skills
Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Able to read Safety Data Sheets for hazardous materials
