We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Alfa Laval's Richmond manufacturing facility. As a key member of our 2nd shift team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to meet our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Work from Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
- Continuously build job knowledge through execution of Standard Operating Procedures and contribute to team performance and improvement meetings.
- Develop the department in accordance with the Alfa Laval Production System and participate in team performance and improvement meetings.
- Comply with all safety policies, wear all required PPE, and report any safety concerns or injuries immediately.
- Execute quality checks and inspections as needed, and maintain work records and productivity standards.
- Keep work areas clean and free of debris by utilizing 5S processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of previous production experience.
- Basic Personal Computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Fork truck/crane operations is a plus, but not required.
