Job Overview

Position: Manufacturing Assembler / Electrical Technician

Location: Richmond, VA

Compensation: $18/hour

Shift Details: Initial training on 1st shift (6AM - 2:30PM) followed by transition to 2nd shift (2:30PM - 11PM) based on operational needs.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Role Summary:

The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling high-quality products while adhering to production standards and customer specifications. This role requires knowledge of low voltage electrical testing and involves working under the guidance of production supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products in accordance with engineering specifications, ensuring quality and compliance with production goals.
  • Utilize computer systems to monitor schedules and update job statuses.
  • Conduct Go-No Go testing as per established procedures.
  • Continuously assess the quality of components used in the assembly process.
  • Support the training of new employees and address any inquiries or issues that arise.
  • Perform necessary material handling tasks.
  • Review and suggest improvements to assembly processes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate communication of information.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including records and reject tickets.
  • Engage actively in team meetings and discussions.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Skills and Qualifications:

High School diploma with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
