Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee our advanced manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal production control and efficient workflow to align with production objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate agility in problem-solving and adaptability to dynamic challenges while collaborating closely with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment by enhancing safety protocols and holding all team members accountable for safety practices.
  • Adhere to GMP, FDA, and ISO standards and regulations.
  • Supervise Production Supervisors and Platform Managers, conducting performance evaluations as necessary.
  • Oversee non-exempt staff and maintain safety and cleanliness on the production floor.
  • Collaborate with Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Human Resources, Cost Accounting, and IT departments.
  • Foster positive relationships among team members through effective policy development, performance reviews, and training initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage all production activities to uphold high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Document all manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Assist in managing product specifications and packaging requirements.
  • Oversee the requisition of raw materials necessary for production and develop staffing plans to meet operational needs.
  • Contribute to the establishment of the facility from its inception.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Six to ten years of supervisory experience, managing at least three direct reports.
  • Proven experience in Production Management, including inventory control, scheduling, and planning.
  • Familiarity with ISO/FDA standards is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing planning and operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Total Quality Control (TQC), and Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector.
  • Basic knowledge of Worker's Compensation regulations and employee relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of machinery and mechanical operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to enhance operational efficiency.
