About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Voice Architect to join our team at American International Group (AIG). As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our global telephony strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an aspirational architectural roadmap for enterprise telephony, ensuring alignment with AIG's IT and business objectives.
  • Lead the design and development of scalable and highly available solution architectures for global voice services.
  • Partner with regional stakeholders and governing boards to enforce architecture standards and ensure consistency across all solutions.
  • Evaluate alternative technologies and architectures to meet the needs of our consolidated communications infrastructure.
  • Manage complex activities simultaneously to meet short timescales and deliver results on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level core voice technologies, with a strong focus on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking, call flows, and unified communications protocols.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Session Border Controller (SBC) and Session Management technologies, with Oracle Communications (Acme Packet) product experience preferred.
  • Experience with legacy and next-generation telephony/SIP carrier offerings for both DID and Toll-Free services.
  • Strong background in core voice migration activities related to TDM to SIP, carrier to carrier, toll-free, and on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to develop self and others through coaching, contributing to team success, continuously learning, and sharing knowledge.
