About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Architect to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and management of our Information Technology (IT) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams and Enterprise Architects to ensure seamless operational hand-off and maintain the overall IT architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership and consultation across the organization in assigned areas, ensuring that respective applications, data, and technology function within acceptable parameters.
  • Develop and execute solutions that further reduce reactive work and improve overall IT efficiency.
  • Develop, document, communicate, and enforce technology standards policies, ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; additional four years' experience in lieu of degree.
  • Seven years IT experience, including five years in a senior-level engineer, analyst, or consultant role.
  • At least one high-level industry certification, such as Cisco Certified Architect (CCA), Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
