We're seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional 1 to join our team and provide support and assistance in Level 1 residential programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily support and skills training to individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Assist with medical, clinical, and financial needs, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.
- Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, adhering to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
- Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or DSP Certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and minimum 1 year of driving experience.
