Job Summary

Bridgewell is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to develop skills and foster independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care and household management.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote skill development and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and care.
  • Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress and support.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
