Job Summary

The Front Desk Associate represents the RELIVE brand, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. This role requires effective communication with patients, extensive knowledge of products and services, and the ability to onboard and check out patients properly based on service received.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them either in person or on the telephone, and answer or refer patient inquiries.
  • Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone effectively.
  • Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of the patient's arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding the provider of service delays.
  • Comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering their questions, and maintaining the reception area.
  • Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Record and fulfill scripts, update financial information, record and collect patient charges, file, verify, and expedite third-party invoicing and fulfillment.
  • Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and liaising with the Office Manager regarding scheduling equipment service and repairs.
  • Protect patients' rights by abiding by HIPAA regulations and maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes, and liaising with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy and participating in shared decision-making.
  • Accurately use online booking systems and assist with patients calling with questions and following up.
Qualifications
  • Educated to GED level.
  • Previous experience working in customer-serving environments.
  • Experience in a medical setting is preferable.
