The Bridgeport Islanders are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our Ticket Sales team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through full-menu selling, including full season ticket plans, group outings, premium suites, and flex packages.
You will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting pre-determined activity and sales goals. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect new business from provided lists and generate own leads at networking events
- Contact prospects for ticket packages, including individual game buyers, group purchasers, and community events
- Conduct face-to-face meetings to secure new business
- Make at least 50 outbound phone calls per day
- Assist in the execution of ticket sales initiatives
- Autonomy to manage your own time and prioritize tasks
- Collaboration skills to work with other departments to maximize sales revenues
- Accountability to take ownership of your work
- Multi-tasking skills to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Creativity to contribute to the team with new ideas and concepts
- Leadership skills to display leadership qualities and be a team player
