Job Summary

The National Community Reinvestment Coalition Inc is seeking a highly skilled Director of Information Technology Strategy to lead the development and implementation of our organization's technology vision. This is a key leadership role that will oversee the strategy, execution, and day-to-day management of our information technology infrastructure and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with experience in leading technical teams and developing strategic plans to drive business outcomes. They will be responsible for assessing technology needs, making recommendations on IT solutions, and collaborating with staff to improve program outcomes and efficiency of business operations.

This is a hybrid role that will require the ability to work collaboratively with staff and vendors, as well as independently to manage projects and priorities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives
  • Lead the management of IT infrastructure and operations, including applications, business continuity, facility A/V and networking systems
  • Collaborate with staff to improve program outcomes and efficiency of business operations
  • Assess technology needs and make recommendations on IT solutions
  • Manage the selection and purchase of all IT solutions
  • Install, set up and configure hardware and software for new and existing users
  • Create policies and procedures on organizational technology use
  • Provide support and customer service on IT issues to all users at the organization
  • Manage the relationships with all outside vendors to troubleshoot day-to-day IT challenges
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery measures
  • Plan and manage IT budget; monitor spending
  • Provide staff training on technology tools and solutions
  • Collaborate with all departments in planning and budgeting
Requirements
  • 5+ years of IT management experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Skilled and proficient in server management, cloud storage management, network and firewall configuration, Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace, antivirus software, CRM, Windows and Macintosh operating systems, printer networking and configuration, VOIP systems
  • Knowledge of contracting and budget management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and operate in a fast-paced work environment
